Over the past decade we have also made a real name for ourselves in the renovation and restoration sector of Hertitage and conservation projects - these include churches such as St George’s Church and Clonard Monastery, both in Belfast, and the stunning St Patrick’s Cathedral in Ireland’s ecclesiastical capital, Armagh.

Armatile's surfaces have been used extensively by Designers, Architects, Contractors and Fit-Out Specialists on numerous international projects, ranging from the authentically traditional to the truly outrageous in countries including Dubai, France, USA, Canada, Russia, as well as throughout the UK and Ireland.
In the early 2000s, the company invested in a manufacturing and fabrication facility that has enabled it to design and create bespoke and award-winning tile surface solutions for a broad range of clients and projects. We combine creative surface design with modern waterjet cutting and laser etching technologies and hand assemble every bespoke design using traditional artisan mosaic assembly techniques. The result is consistently stunning surfaces created for our clients individual projects.
We are an independent family focused business rooted in the local community. Founded in 1975 by husband and wife team James and Pat McCann, they initially sold carpet tiles from their garage.
