What are Porcelain tiles?

Porcelain tiles consist of a spray dried body of selected clays, kaolinitic minerals, quartz and feldspar, shaped by dry pressing to form a ceramic material that is then fired at temperatures up to 1250 degrees centigrade. A key element of a porcelain tile is its extremely low level of water absorption which is below 0.5%, which makes porcelain tiles stain-resistant and highly durable.Top
